Coinciding with the 2012 London Olympics, Korean Eye 2012 served as the grand finale of the initial four-year project, transforming the entire Saatchi Gallery into a massive showcase of Korean contemporary art. Out of over 2,000 portfolio submissions, a final selection of 33 ground-breaking artists was made to present a dynamic cross-section of Korea's rapidly evolving cultural landscape. The exhibition stood as the largest survey of Korean contemporary art ever presented in the United Kingdom, capturing the attention of the international culture sector focused on London.

The selected works demonstrated a profound engagement with materiality, technical mastery, and the subversion of historical genres. From sculptures made of soap to intricate kinetic installations, the artists explored the tension between traditional heritage and the disorienting acceleration of post-modern society. By presenting pieces that possessed both localized cultural depth and universal aesthetic appeal, the exhibition successfully elevated the global brand value of K-Art, cementing its status as an influential force in the global art market.
