As the second season, Korean Eye: Fantastic Ordinary built on the success of the previous year by carefully selecting 12 outstanding artists to present a more sophisticated and deeper look into Korean contemporary art. The participating artists reinterpreted and showcased the facets of modern life encountered by Koreans in their daily lives through highly personal and original aesthetic approaches, spanning photography, sculpture, installation, and media art.

Beginning with the exhibition at the Saatchi Gallery in London, it took the form of a multinational touring exhibition that moved onward to Singapore and Seoul, successfully strengthening its global network.

In particular, the large monograph publication spearheaded by lead curator Daehyung Lee went beyond a simple exhibition guide, successfully serving as an archive that compiled and introduced the flow of Korean contemporary art to Western academia and the art world.
